DESCRIPTION:Title: <a href="https://stable.researchseminars.org/talk/BGUSA
 S/1/">The modular symbol (0\, \\infty) and Kato's Euler system</a>\nby Sha
nwen Wang (Renmin University) as part of BGU sporadic Arithmetic Seminar\n
\n\nAbstract\nIn this talk\, we will explain how to construct an element i
n the local Iwasawa cohomology of the galois representation associated to
a modular form starting from the modular symbol (0\,\\infty). By comparin
g with Kato's Euler system\, we show that it is a global cohomological cla
ss. This is based on the joint work with Pierre Colmez.\n
