1/">Simulations of Cosmic Ray Ensembles originated nearby the Sun</a>\nby
David Alvarez Castillo (The Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear P
hysics) as part of Computer Physics and Quantum Informatics Seminar\n\n\nA
bstract\nCosmic Ray Ensembles (CRE) are yet not observed groups of cosmic
rays with a common primary interaction vertex or the same parent particle.
We simulate the creation of CRE by the interaction of an ultra-high energ
y photon with the solar magnetic field which results in an electron pair p
roduction and the subsequent synchrotron radiation. The produced photons f
orm a cascade that extends even over tens of millions of kilometers when i
t arrives at the top of the Earth’s atmosphere\, with photon energies th
at span practically the whole cosmic ray energy spectrum. In this talk I w
ill present the results of applying a toy model to simulate the correspond
ing CRE detections at the ground level using an array of ideal detectors o
f different dimensions\, aimed at reconstructing the incident photon distr
 ibution.\n

rtment\, Jefferson Laboratory) as part of Computer Physics and Quantum Inf
ormatics Seminar\n\n\nAbstract\nMC event generators (MCEG) are crucial for
studies in high energy particle reactions. At present\, the state-of-the-
art MCEG such as Pythia\, Herwig involves a mix of theory input and mode
ls to describe the complex simulation of particle production of scattering
experiments. In this talk I will describe a novel use of GANs to build a
pure AI driven MCEG in order to mitigate potential biases from theory inpu
t and modeling which are needed for the exploration of hadron structure
at existing experimental facilities such as Jefferson Lab\, COMPASS at CER
N\, and the future Electron Ion collider.\n

ieniowania kosmicznego w skali globalnej. Fizycznym tego uzasadnieniem by
ło poszukiwanie Zespołów Promieniowania Kosmicznego\, zjawisk nieobserw
owanych dotąd\, a mogących mieć zasadniczy wpływ na koncepcje pochodze
nia i przyspieszania cząstek o energiach wielokrotnie większych niż naj
Dowodem n
a to jest obserwowany rozkład długości rejestrowanych śladów\, a konk
retnie to\, że odpowiada on rozkładowi kierunków przychodzenia do powie
rzchni ziemi niespójnych mionów promieniowania kosmicznego i temu będzi

dzięki którym możliwe jest określanie podobieństwa pomiędzy danymi
o różnych modalnościach. Metody te należą do grupy algorytmów multim

ające na określenie podobieństwa pomiędzy obrazem cyfrowym (np. zdjęc
iem) i tekstem pisanym językiem naturalnym. Można je w praktyce zastosow
ać np. w celu generowania podsumowania tekstu w formie obrazków ilustrac

Transformer\, ResNet oraz BERT. Przedstawione zostaną też wstępne wynik

the theory of quanta takes up quite privileged status in modern physics b
ecause the development of experimental methods allows verifying many under
lying hypotheses. However\, it is worth noting that the same theory can be
represented in several independent ways\, and each of them gives some ins
ight into its mathematical structure. During the presentation\, the elemen
ts of this formulation of the quanta will be discussed\, and the results c
oncerning the dynamics of non-classical states in the phase space will be
 presented.\n

ure held in 421N.\n\nAbstract\nPentaquark candidates have been seen by LHC
b in the J/ψ p spectrum. One such candidate is the narrow Pc(4312) state
whose lineshape might be due to the opening of the threshold approximately
5 MeV higher. A recent analysis by the Joint Physics Analysis Center\, JP
AC\, has suggested that the Pc(4312) is likely to be a virtual state. The
amplitudes developed in the JPAC analysis are used to generate the mass sp
ectrum that is used to train an artificial neural network\, ANN\, to class
ify the nature of the Pc(4312) peak. Resolution and noise is also taken in
to consideration. ANNs are typically seen as black boxes but their inner w
orkings can be understood by calculating the game theoretically optimal Sh
apley values. The details and performance of the ANN will be presented.\n

part of Computer Physics and Quantum Informatics Seminar\n\nLecture held i
n 421N.\n\nAbstract\nOne of the main objectives of the CREDO project is to
search for Cosmic-Ray Ensembles (CRE) which may\nappear if some number of
high energy cosmic-ray particles of a common origin enter the Earth’s a
tmosphere at\napproximately the same time. To confirm the existence of suc
h phenomena a massive scale observation of Extensive Air\nShowers (EAS) in
a very wide energy spectrum and an analysis of their time correlations mu
st be performed. To make\nsuch observations possible\, an infrastructure o
f widely spread detectors connected in a global network should be\ndevelop
ed. Knowing the characteristics of EAS from more general simulations\, pro
bability of cascade detection for certain\nsystem can be calculated. In th
is work results from several versions of calculations\, with different com
plexity level\, are\npresented and compared with the first measurement per
formed with a test detector system. These results con- firm that\nmajority
of events observed with a this small detector array are caused by cosmic-
