/a>\nby Yiwen Pan (Sun Yat-sen University) as part of Strings and QFTs for
Eurasian time zone\n\n\nAbstract\n4d N=2 and 3d N=4 SCFTs are found be to
respectively associated to\, as protected subsectors of their algebras of
local operators\, 2d vertex operator algebras and 1d topological algebras
. In the first half of the talk\, we will compute Schur correlation functi
ons on S3xS1 by the localization technique\, where the well-known localiza
tion argument needs to be generalized. In the second half\, we propose a w
ay to extract a 1d topological algebra from the torus correlation function
s of an associated VOA χ[T4d]. In favorable situations\, the extracted al
gebra coincides with the deformation quantization of the Higgs branch of v
acua of the circle-reduction of T4d\, or otherwise a deformation quantizat
ion at a different value of its period.\n

entropy of large BPS black holes in AdS_7 X S^4. In particular\, I will ex

 otential for 5d N = 1 superconformal field theories\n\nAbstract: \nIn gene
ral\, five dimensional (5d) supersymmetric gauge theory can be understood
as a deformation of the superconformal field theory (SCFT) realized at the
ultraviolet fixed point. The deformation parameters are interpreted as th
e masses and the gauge coupling constants of the gauge theory. However\, f
rom the viewpoint of the SCFT\, it is natural to extend the parameter regi
on to the place where the original gauge theory description is not valid a
nymore. For example\, we can consider the parameter region where the squar
e of the gauge coupling constant becomes negative. If we choose such param
eter region\, the theory may flow to a different gauge theory or may flows
to a non-Lagrangian theory at the infrared.\nWe propose the “complete
” prepotential for 5d N=1 SCFT\, which is valid for the whole parameter
region. The complete prepotential is constructed in such a way that it res
pects the global symmetry of the SCFT and that it reduces to the perturbat
ive prepotential found by Intriligator\, Morrison and Seiberg in the param
eter region where the gauge theory description is valid. The (p\,q) 5-bran
e web diagram plays an important role to understand the complete prepotent

for Eurasian time zone\n\n\nAbstract\nMagnetic quivers and Hasse diagrams
have recently been developed to study gauge theories with 8 supercharges
at UV fixed points. For a given low-energy gauge theory realised via a Ty
pe II brane construction\, there exist magnetic quivers for the Higgs bran
ches at finite and infinite gauge coupling. \nComparing these moduli space
s allows to study the non-perturbative effects when transitioning to the f
ixed point. For 5d N=1 SQCD\, 5-brane webs have been an important tool fo
r deriving magnetic quivers. In this talk\, the emphasis is placed on 5-b
rane webs with orientifold 5-planes which give rise to 5d theories with o
rthogonal or symplectic gauge groups. For this set-up\, I will exemplify
the magnetic quiver prescription and contrast it against a unitary magneti
c quiver description extracted from an O7 construction. An important clas
s of families considered are the orthogonal exceptional families\, realise
d as infinite coupling Higgs branches of Sp(k) gauge theories with fundame
ntal matter. For both classes of magnetic quivers\, I will discuss the as
sociated Hasse diagrams for selected examples. Their agreement further val

\n\nAbstract\nWe study a T2 deformation of large N conformal field theorie
s\, a higher dimensional generalization of the TT¯ deformation. The defor
med partition function satisfies a flow equation of the diffusion type. We
solve this equation by finding its diffusion kernel\, which is given by t
he Euclidean gravitational path integral in d+1 dimensions between two bou
ndaries with Dirichlet boundary conditions for the metric. This is natural
given the connection between the flow equation and the Wheeler-DeWitt equ
ation\, on which we offer a new perspective by giving a gauge-invariant re
lation between the deformed partition function and the radial WDW wave fun
ction. An interesting output of the flow equation is the gravitational pat
h integral measure which is consistent with a constrained phase space quan

ory at large N with Kodaira-Spencer gravity. We explain a new anomaly canc
ellation mechanism at all loops in perturbation theory for open-closed top
ological B-model. At one loop this anomaly cancellation is analogous to th
 e Green-Schwarz mechanism. As an application\, we introduce a type I versi
on of Kodaira-Spencer theory in complex dimension 5 and show that it can o
nly be coupled to holomorphic Chern-Simons theory with gauge group SO(32)
at quantum level. This coupled system is conjectured to be a supersymmetri
c localization of type I string theory. This is joint work with Kevin Cost

 \nAbstract\nA non-trivial S-matrix generally implies a production of entan
glement: starting with an incoming pure state the scattering generally ret
urns an outgoing state with non-vanishing entanglement entropy. It is then
interesting to ask if there exists a non-trivial S-matrix that generates
no entanglement. To this end we study the spin-entanglement in the scatte
ring of arbitrary spinning particles. Augmented with Thomas-Wigner rotatio
n factors\, we derive the entanglement entropy from the gravitational indu
ced 2-> 2 amplitude. In the Eikonal limit\, we find that the relative enta
nglement entropy\, defined as the difference between the entanglement entr
opy of the in and out-states\, is nearly zero for minimal coupling\, and i
ncreases significantly for any non-vanishing spin multipole moments. This
suggests that minimal couplings of spinning particles\, whose classical li
mit corresponds to Kerr black hole\, has the unique feature of generating
 near zero entanglement.\n

rt of Strings and QFTs for Eurasian time zone\n\n\nAbstract\nRecent develo
pments in understanding the black hole information paradox have led to the
`quantum extremal island’ prescription for calculating the fine-grained
entropy of a quantum system entangled with gravitational degrees of freed
om. A quantum extremal island suggests that a region of spacetime is encod
ed in the quantum state of another system\, like the encoding of the black
hole interior in Hawking radiation. We study conditions for islands to ap
pear in general spacetimes. They must violate Bekenstein's area bound in a
precise sense (with a simple tensor network picture)\, and the boundary o
f an island must satisfy several quantum information-theoretic inequalitie
 s. These conditions combine to impose very strong restrictions\, which we
apply to cosmological models. In this talk\, I will mainly focus on the ex
ample of four-dimensional FRW cosmology with radiation and a negative cosm
ological constant entangled with an auxiliary non-gravitational Minkowski
spacetime in the thermofield double state\, where an island appears near t
he turning point when the geometry begins to recollapse. If time permits\,
I will also briefly explain our results for islands in the two-dimensiona
l models of JT gravity in de Sitter spacetime. The talk will be based on w

zone\n\n\nAbstract\nQuantum curves arise from Seiberg-Witten curves associ
ated to 4d N=2 gauge theories by promoting coordinates to non-commutative
operators. In this way the algebraic equation of the curve is interpreted
as an operator equation where a Hamiltonian acts on a wave-function with z
ero eigenvalue. We find that this structure generalises when one considers
torus-compactified 6d N=(1\,0) SCFTs. The corresponding quantum curves ar
e elliptic in nature and hence the associated eigenvectors/eigenvalues can
be expressed in terms of Jacobi forms. In this talk\, we focus on the cla
ss of 6d SCFTs arising from M5 branes transverse to a C2/Zk singularity. I
n the limit where the compactified 2-torus has zero size\, the correspondi
ng 4d N=2 theories are known as class Sk. We explicitly show that the eige
nvectors associated to the quantum curve are expectation values of codimen
sion 2 surface operators\, while the corresponding eigenvalues are codimen
sion 4 Wilson surface expectation values.\n

N limits of four-dimensional supersymmetric gauge theories with simple gau
ge groups that flow to superconformal fixed points. We restrict ourselves
to the ones without a superpotential and with a fixed flavor symmetry. We
find 34 classes in total\, with 8 having a dense spectrum of chiral gauge-
invariant operators. The central charges a and c for the dense theories gr
ow linearly in N in contrast to the N^2 growth for the theories with a spa
rse spectrum. We find that there can be multiple bands separated by a gap\
, or a discrete spectrum above the band. We also find a criterion on the m
atter content for the fixed point theory to possess either a dense or spar
se spectrum. We discover a few curious aspects regarding supersymmetric RG
flows and a-maximization along the way. For all the theories with the den
se spectrum\, the AdS version of the Weak Gravity Conjecture (including th

e most important but basic features of non-Abelian gauge theories\, and an
intuitive and interesting scenario of its dynamics is condensation of mag
netic monopoles. When we add the topological theta term to it\, more exoti
c condensations may appear\, which are called oblique confinement phases.
In a 4d lattice model proposed by Cardy and Rabinovici\, such interesting
phases can be explicitly realized. In this talk\, I will uncover its topol
ogical nature based on the recent applications of 't Hooft anomaly matchin
 g. Moreover\, it has been known that the local dynamics of Cardy-Rabinovic
i model shows the SL(2\,Z) self-duality\, but it turns out that the self-d
uality does not extend to the global aspect of the original theory. We coo
ked up a SL(2\,Z) self-dual theory by gauging a part of the 1-form symmetr

d Rapcak proposed a generalization of WN algebra by considering the symmet
ry at the corner of the brane intersection (corner vertex operator algebra
). The algebra\, denoted as YL\,M\,N\, is characterized by three non-negat
ive integers L\,M\,N. It has a manifest triality automorphism which interc
hanges L\,M\,N\, and can be obtained as a reduction of W1+∞ through a "p
it" in the plane partition representation. \nLater\, Prochazka and Rapcak
proposed a representation of YL\,M\,N in terms of L+N+M free bosons throug
h a generalization of Miura transformation\, where they use the fractional
power differential operators. \nIn this paper\, we derive a q-deformation
of their Miura transformation. It gives the free field representation for
q-deformed YL\,M\,N\, which is obtained as a reduction of the quantum tor
oidal algebra. We find that the q-deformed version has a "simpler" structu
re than the original one because of the Miki duality in the quantum toroid
al algebra. For instance\, one can find a direct correspondence between th
e operators obtained by the Miura transformation and those of the quantum

zation of projective duality at the categorical level. It has been noticed
that different phases of some gauged linear sigma models are related by H
PD. Given a projective embedding\, this duality can be formulated explicit
ly by constructing a GLSM describing the universal hyperplane section. I w
ill outline the structure and application of this type of GLSM in this tal
 k. It can be shown\, by analysis of brane transport\, that the HPD is real
ized by the Higgs branch of one of the phases. Application of this formula
tion to examples such as Veronese embedding\, quadrics\, complete intersec
tions and Plucker embedding reproduces existing mathematical results and p
rovides descpritions of new HPDs. It also explains why\, in many cases\, t
wo phases of a GLSM are related by homological projective duality.\n

Seung-Joo Lee (IBS) as part of Strings and QFTs for Eurasian time zone\n\
n\nAbstract\nThis talk aims to study the way string theory realizes variou
s conjectures on quantum gravity. Starting with the F-theory description o
f a gauge theory coupled to gravity\, we will first analyze the limit in K
ähler moduli space where the gauge coupling tends to zero while gravity i
s kept dynamical. In such a limit a key observation will be made about the
appearance of a tensionless string. Focusing on U(1) gauge dynamics for c
oncreteness\, we will look into the elliptic genus of this string in terms
of certain meromorphic weak Jacobi forms\, of which modular properties al
low us to determine the charge-to-mass ratios of certain string excitation
 s. A tower of these asymptotically massless charged states will then be co
nfirmed to satisfy the (sub-)Lattice Weak Gravity Conjecture\, the Complet
eness Conjecture\, and the Swampland Distance Conjecture.\n

\nI will review a recent development of twisted holography\, pioneered by
Kevin Costello. Main examples will be twisted M-theory with M2 branes and
M5 branes. After describing the Omega deformed and topologically twisted b

of the twisted M-theory and draw an isomorphism between them. The operator

ill explain how we can understand fusions of the algebras in the gravity s

s</a>\nby Kaiwen Sun (KIAS) as part of Strings and QFTs for Eurasian time
zone\n\n\nAbstract\nWe take the first step to classify all 5d (K-theoretic
) blowup equations -- both unity and vanishing. In particular\, we find th
e full set of blowup equations for all rank one\, two\, three and many hig
her rank 5d $\\mathcal{N}=1$ gauge theories and all exceptional gauge theo
ries. Our strategy is starting from 5d Kaluza-Klein (KK) theories compacti
fied from 6d SCFTs and translating all elliptic blowup equations to K-theo
retic blowup equations. Then we reduce the blowup equations by decoupling
once at a time the hypermultiplets in various representations. Interesting
ly\, for rank higher than one theories\, along one single renormalization
group (RG) flow one does not always obtain all blowup equations from the u
pstream theories. Instead\, each 5d theory inherits blowup equations from
all its parental theories in the flow web. We find the 5d dualities are hi
ghly non-trivially reflected in the map among blowup equations. We also st
udy the blowup equations near the 5d SCFT point and find the enhanced glob
al symmetry appears naturally. In particular\, all $r$ fields form Weyl or
bits of enhanced flavor group in the lattice of invariant Coulomb paramete
 rs.\n

\n\n\nAbstract\nFreed and Hopkins conjectured that the deformation classes
of\nnon-topological invertible quantum field theories are classified by a
\ngeneralized cohomology theory called the Anderson dual of bordism\ntheor
ies.\nTwo of the main difficulty of this problem are the following.\nFirst
\, we do not have the axioms for QFT’s.\nSecond\, The Anderson dual is d
efined in an abstract way.\nIn this talk\, I will explain our results (arX
iv:2106.09270) to give a new\napproach to this conjecture\, in particular
 to overcome the second\ndifficulty above.\nWe construct a new\, physically

believe to hold in general.\nI will start from basic motivations for the

bo Shim (Kyung Hee University) as part of Strings and QFTs for Eurasian ti
me zone\n\n\nAbstract\nWe propose a novel procedure of assigning a pair of
  non-unitary topological quantum field theories (TQFTs)\, TFT$_\\pm [\\CT_
 {\\rm rank \\\;0}]$\, to a (2+1)D interacting $\\CN=4$ superconformal fiel
d theory (SCFT) $\\CT_{\\rm rank \\\;0}$ of rank 0\, i.e.\\ having no Coul
omb and Higgs branches. The topological theories arise from particular deg
enerate limits of the SCFT. Modular data of the non-unitary TQFTs are ex
tracted from the supersymmetric partition functions in the degenerate l
 imits. As a non-trivial dictionary\, we propose that $F = \\max_\\alpha \\
 left(- \\log |S^{(+)}_{0\\alpha}| \\right) = \\max_\\alpha \\left(- \\log
  |S^{(-)}_{0\\alpha}|\\right)$\, where $F$ is the round three-sphere free
energy of $\\CT_{\\rm rank \\\;0 }$ and $S^{(\\pm)}_{0\\alpha}$ is the fir
st column in the modular S-matrix of TFT$_\\pm$. From the dictionary\,
 we derive the lower bound on $F$\, $F \\geq -\\log \\left(\\sqrt{\\frac{5-
 \\sqrt{5}}{10}} \\right) \\simeq 0.642965$\, which holds for any rank 0 S
CFT. The bound is saturated by the minimal $\\CN=4$ SCFT proposed by Gang-
Yamazaki\, whose associated topological theories are both the Lee-Yang TQF
 T. We explicitly work out the (rank 0 SCFT)/(non-unitary TQFTs) correspond
 ence for infinitely many examples.\n
