nce Authority: A deep dive into revolving fund and energy program sustaina
bility</a>\nby Debra Kean (DeVry University) as part of DVU Data Science S
eminar Series\n\n\nAbstract\nThe Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (
GEFA) relies on three primary income sources: Congressional allotments\, s
tate allotments\, and loan fees or repayments from assistance recipients.
The allocation of these funds is determined by the political figures and p
arties in office. A political shift toward conservative policies could pro
mpt state and federal authorities to reduce funding for GEFA in favor of a
lternative initiatives. This reduction would likely have a substantial imp
act on GEFA's financial stability and the scope of its programs.\n
